Eligibility for MBA | Eligibility for MCA

Eligibility for BE:

  • The Candidate should be an Indian National
  • Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects
  • Obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together;


Maharashtra State Candidate :

  • Obtained score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority.


All India Candidate :

  • Obtained score in CET or JEE Main Paper I.
  • B.E. undergraduate programme eligibility and criteria for merit list is as per Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Maharashtra notification available on www.dtemaharashtra.org.in


Seats Distribution :

  • Institute Level Quota : 20% of Sanctioned Intake.
  • CAP round of DTE : 80% of Sanctioned Intake

Eligibility for MBA:

Maharashtra State Candidate :

  • The Candidate should be an Indian National
  • Passed minimum three year duration Bachelor’s Degree awarded by any of the Universities recognized by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent ( at least 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons With Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) or its equivalent
  • Obtained score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority.


All India Candidature Candidates: :

  • The candidate should be an Indian National;
  • Passed minimum three years duration Bachelor’s Degree awarded by the University recognized by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent (at least 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) or its equivalent;
  • Obtained score in one of the following examinations; CET conducted by the Competent Authority, Common Admission Test conducted by Indian Institute of Management (CAT) or Common Management Aptitude Test conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (CMAT): Provided for the academic year 2017-18, Obtained score in one of the following examinations; CET conducted by the Competent Authority, Graduate Management Aptitude Test Conducted by Graduate Management Admission Council, United States of America (GMAT), Common Admission Test conducted by Indian Institute of Management (CAT), Management Aptitude Test Conducted by All India Management Association (MAT), Entrance Test for Management Admissions conducted by The Association of Indian Management Schools.(ATMA), Xavier Aptitude Test conducted by Xavier School of Management Jamshedpur (XAT) and Common Management Aptitude Test Conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (CMAT).

Institute Level Admission:

  • The candidate should be an Indian National;
  • Passed minimum three year duration Bachelor’s Degree awarded by any of the Universities recognized by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent ( at least 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons With Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) or its equivalent
  • Obtained score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority.

Eligibility for MCA:

Maharashtra State Candidate :

  • The Candidate should be an Indian National
  • Candidates should have Passed minimum three year duration Bachelor’s Degree awarded by University recognised by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least 50% marks in *aggregate or equivalent (at least 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only;
  • Studied Mathematics as one of the subjects at (10+2) level or at Graduate level examination;

Note :

  • Aggregate marks means the grand total of marks obtained by the candidate in subjects based on which the class declaration is made in the particular University from which the candidate is passing the qualifying examination.
