Date of Elocution Competition in collaboration with Bank of Maharashtra : 31/10/2018
P.R. Pote(Patil) Group of Educational Institutions Amravati’s Department of MBA, MCA and NSS in collaboration with Bank of Maharashtra organized an Elocution Competition on 31st Oct 2018 on the topic “Eradicate Corruption- Build A New India”. On the eve of Vigilance awareness Week 2018 chief guest Zonal Manager Maharashtra Bank Amravati Mrs. Aparna Joglekar and other Bank Officials along with Principal S.D. Wakde, Vice-Pricipal Mohd. Zuher , HOD Department of MBA Prof. S.R. Shah, HOD Department of MCA Dr. C. A. Dhawle, Faculty members and Students of the Institute took”Integrity Pledge to participate in the fight against corruption”.
Students from MBA, MCA and Engineering 1st year Department participated in the competition great enthusiasm. While expressing their views on eradicating corruption students focused and spoke about what is corruption, how it happens and what are feasible measures that should be taken to eradicate corruption.
Speaking on the event Chief Guest Mrs. Aparna Joglekar gave valuable inputs to students on eradication of corruption and informed that rather than just talking on corruption we need to take a stand and inculcate habit of saying no to corruption in ourselves. Continuing on the same node Institution’s Principal Dr. S. D. Wakde also enlightened students and praise the participants for their views on corruption and steps suggested for its eradication. She added corruption hamper the nation’s economic growth in numerous ways; if we implement ethical practices in ourselves the day is not far when we all will proudly say that Our Nation is corruption free.
Miss. Parul Sharma from MBA department stood first in the competition, Miss. Roshni Malik MCA Department and Miss. Vaishnavi Mahalle from MBA Department won second and third prize respectively. All participants were felicitated by certificate. Programme was anchored by Prof. S. S. Mendhe (NSS Co- Ordinator) and Prof. S. B. Kadu MBA Department
